Civil Disobedience

Henry Thoreau was fighting for something he truly believe was the right. Thoreau was arrested because he refused to pay tax to the state. he refused to pay taxes because he was against the U.S war with Mexico. he believed that it was an excuse to expand American's slavery territory. He was forced to spend the night in jail. Thoreau might spend more time there but his aunt pay the tax for him. That night in jail became the insparation  on his essay known as ''resistance to civil government ''. Another that fight for civil right disobedience was Mohandak K. Gahdhi leader of indians for independence  from British rule, he was considered the father of his country.
Gandhi worked for Indians living under racist and repressive government of South Africa. He believe that wasn't necessary to be in peace. No country has ever become or will ever become, happy through victory in war. I think no one should be happy that they won a war because they killed innocent people that didn't deserve to die. Everywhere wars are fought and million of people get killed , but after a while it becomes more and more to be realized that the seed of the war to been destroyed but have become thousands time more nourished and mighty. People need to fight for what they believe and get together and fight together. Everything they work becomes a success and accomplish in their beliefs.
How did civil disobedience affect people? I think that this affect them in good way. People were becoming a whole group. Fight for one thing all at once. For example the essay of Henry David Thoreau it argues that people should not permit government to overrule or desensitize their consciences, and that people have a duty not allow the government to make them a gents of justice.
